We recently shared with you that Nintendo Japan had announced a free trial period for Fire Emblem Warriors. Unfortunately, Nintendo has not announced this promotion for the West for now, although that does not mean that we cannot deny it.
If you have a subscription to Nintendo Switch Online, you just have to follow these steps to play Fire Emblem Warriors for free on your western Nintendo Switch from today until January 26:
- Create a Japanese account on your console. If you don't have a Japanese account created yet, you can find our guide on this link.
- Access the eShop from your Japanese account.
- Go to the tab on the left side of the eShop that appears under ‘New’, where Fire Emblem Warriors appears with a 40% discount tag.
- In that tab, select the highlighted red button to access the download page for the free version.
- On this page, select the orange and white box in the lower right of the screen to download the software.
- Temporarily change the region of your primary account that already has a Nintendo Switch Online subscription. In the video below you will find out how to do it (as well as all the previous steps): changing the region of our main account from the official Nintendo page having previously selected the automatic renewal of Nintendo Switch Online as deactivated. Of course, keep in mind that if you change your region the funds you have in the eShop will be deleted, so make sure you don't have accumulated money.
In this way you can access the game and try it without limits until January 26. What do you think?
