As planned, this afternoon Nintendo has released a new Indie World Showcase presentation showing us the next indie news that are on the way to Nintendo Switch. Here we bring you the summary and the deferred one of the direct one.
Here are the titles announced:
- Exit the Gungeon, From Dodge Roll and Singlecore Games: Exit the Gungeon is a frantic shooting game that takes up the story right where Enter the Gungeon ended. Equipped with a constantly changing weapon, an insatiable thirst for treasures and impressive agility to dodge attacks, each hero must ascend the dungeon and escape following a unique route in which they will travel in elevators to which most dangerous. Exit the Gungeon is coming to Nintendo Switch today as a temporary console exclusive!
- The Last Campfire, From Hello Games: Players will discover wild landscapes of great beauty inhabited by peculiar locals, strange beasts and mysterious ruins, in their journey to light the last bonfire. The mystery and poignant story of The Last Campfire will land on Nintendo Switch this summer.
- Blue fire, From Robi Studios: On this extraordinary journey through the desolate kingdom of Penumbra, players will discover the secrets hidden in this long forgotten land. They will explore mystical temples, meet survivors and undertake very strange missions to get their hands on valuable objects. The spooky world of Blue Fire is slated to hit the Nintendo Switch as a temporary console exclusive this summer.
- Baldo, From Naps Team: Lots of quirky and fun characters await players in the amazing world of Baldo, an action-adventure RPG packed with puzzles, cool gameplay mechanics, and complex dungeons scattered throughout and width of a vast open world. Baldo is coming to Nintendo Switch first as a temporary console exclusive this summer.
- I am dead, From Hollow Ponds: I Am Dead is an entertaining puzzle and adventure game by the creators of Hohokum and Wilmot’s Warehouse, about exploring life in the afterlife. I Am Dead will be available for the first time on Nintendo Switch as a temporary exclusive for consoles throughout this year.
- B.ARK, From Tic Toc Games: It's time for dogs, cats, bears and bunnies to save the solar system! Players will be able to call their friends to pilot ships as powerful as they are adorable, and join forces against hordes of enemies in this side scrolling shooting games. B.ARK will be starting the engines for the first time on Nintendo Switch as a temporary console exclusive in late 2020.
- Cyanide & Happiness – Freakpocalypse: Part 1, From Explosm Games: Players will step into the shoes of Coop "Go Away, Weirdo" McCarthy, whose only wish is to make the world a better place. The problem is that Coop does not like anyone, the insti is a glander, the poor man does not find a partner for the end of the year dance, everyone messes with him, including the teachers, and, to curl the curl, every time you try to lend a hand, screw it all the way down. The unique world of Cyanide & Happiness – Freakpocalypse: Part 1 is coming to Nintendo Switch first as a temporary console exclusive this summer.
- Summer in Mara, From Chibig: Players will take care of their own island and explore the ocean in this great adventure. They will discover Koa's story in a game that mixes resource management, object creation and exploration in a tropical archipelago, with a very colorful artistic style and captivating narrative. Summer in Mara will first land on Nintendo Switch as a temporary console exclusive this spring.
- Quantum League, From Nimble Giant Entertainment: Quantum League gives shooting games a twist by adding a good dose of temporal paradoxes: In this first-person shooter, players compete online * within a temporal loop, which It allows them to team up with their past and future selves to engage in mind-blowing 1-on-1 and 2-on-2 battles. Quantum League will materialize on the Nintendo Switch in late 2020.
- The Good Life. from White Owls Inc .: A journalist from New York decides to investigate Rainy Woods, the happiest town in the world, located in the English countryside. However, Rainy Woods hides a great secret: on full moon nights, the inhabitants turn into cats and dogs! Rainy Woods' quirky charm will dazzle gamers when The Good Life hits Nintendo Switch later this year.
- PixelJunk Eden 2, From Q-Games: Players will have to jump, spin, swing, and take down the invaders to collect pollen and make gardens flourish again. Throughout the adventure, they will encounter all kinds of extremely beautiful alien beings and world that they can explore and liberate. Baiyon's art and exquisite music create a synesthesia-like feel that envelops players and their character, Grimp, to create the unique PixelJunk Eden 2 experience. Plus, they will be able to enjoy this wonderful world alone or in the company of a friend thanks to local multiplayer when PixelJunk Eden 2 goes on sale for Nintendo Switch this summer.
- Faeria, From Abrakam: Faeria's quirky living board will challenge players with highly challenging strategic card battles. They'll have to create their own decks, shape the battlefield, and fight tooth and nail to claim victory! The Nintendo Switch version of Faeria will be available in spring 2020.
- Eldest Souls, By Fallen Flag Studio: Set in a spooky dark fantasy world, Eldest Souls revolutionizes fearsome boss fights by offering an unprecedented level of customization. The challenge is served when Eldest Souls first hits Nintendo Switch as a temporary console exclusive this summer.
- Moving Out, From SMG Studio / DevM Games: Co-op enthusiasts are in luck: Moving Out is a physics-based puzzle and action game that gives new meaning to joining forces poised on the couch. Whether solo or in the company of friends through local play, players will have a blast with over 50 levels spread across arcade, story, and versus modes. Moving Out is coming to Nintendo Switch on April 28, although the game can be purchased in advance starting today. In addition, curious users can visit Nintendo eShop on the Nintendo Switch console right now to check out the free trial version of Moving Out!
- Sky Racket, From Double Dash Studios: Is there anything more amazing than flying the skies of wonderful worlds full of color? Yes, it improves if you also wear a stylish scarf, brandish a laser tennis racket and face hordes of furry enemies with evil intentions. This crazy mix of shooter and block-breaking game is called Sky Racket! Sky Racket will be available for Nintendo Switch later today.
