A lot of ancient games have found themselves in the hands of managers and hackers over the years, as they try to push through anything and limit or unravel new secrets, but few seem to have been played with it much more. Super Super 64.
The latest project for fans to attract people's attention is this fully functional PC portal for online gaming. The port appeared for the first time on sites like YouTube at the weekend, and unlike your standard PC emulator, it allows the game to be run at much higher resolutions than the official release. Ever wanted to see what the Super Mario 64 looks like in native 4K or Ultra-wide mode? This does the trick.
As noted VGC, the port has been made available by fans who have reposted the game's source code. It also supports third-party software such as ReShade, a tool that can add new visual effects such as ambient occlusion and depth of field effects in games.
Recent models from others in the community have seen that the Super Mario 64 world is integrated with Banjo-Kazooie and Super Mario Odyssey and redesigned in the style of Mario 64.
