Following the Super Mario Maker 2 Switch update yesterday, dataminer ‘OatmealDome’ has shared the post on social media platform X, noting that “there was no new content” added behind the scenes. The only adjustment was to the game’s code, although it’s not clear exactly what was changed in it.
OatmealDome: [Super Mario Maker 2] “No new content was added in version 3.0.3. The only changes were in the game code. It is not clear what exactly the changes are. It is possible that it could be a fix for a security flaw, like version 3.0.2 and ENLBufferPwn . Required is an additional investigation.”

Although Super Mario Maker 2 on Nintendo Switch received its last major update back in April 2020, it still receives minor updates every now and then. The latest builds on the 2022 update that fixed several issues.
This latest one brings some adjustments for a “more pleasant gaming experience”. Here it is in its entirety:
