We were looking forward to the new Donkey Kong attraction. A while ago we saw a video of her and then it was officially announced.
Now, after seeing the map of this Donkey Kong expansion and its moving roller coaster, as well as its delay in Japan, we have news of its debut in West. It was recently detailed and, after the rumor of its opening in Europe, we now have news for Orlando.
The details come to us after yesterday’s report. Now Universal has officially confirmed the following:
- Epic Universe, including Super Nintendo World will be released on May 22, 2025 in Orlando, Florida.
- The expansion will include experience that already exists in Hollywood.
- It will have the donkey kong expansion.
- Universal will begin offering vacation package reservations from the October 22, 2024.
Universal Epic Universe opens May 22, 2025 at Universal Orlando Resort. Select multi-day tickets and packages will go on sale October 22. Bookings for Universal Helios Grand Hotel, a Loews Hotel, will also be made available.

In addition to Hollywood, Super Nintendo World has locations in Japan and will open new ones in Orlando in 2025 and possibly Singapore that same year, although the latter has not been officially confirmed. What do you think of this news? We read you.
