Following the launch of Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycoris last September, Bandai Namco has now set a release date for DLC 1 “Blooming of Forget Me Not” – announcing that it will launch on Switch on January 18th (that’s next week).
This DLC features an increased level cap, a new story, divine beasts, new maps, dungeons, weapons, clothing and more:

“After a terrible dream of losing Eugeo during a fierce battle against the Administrator, Kirito is determined to find another sword to protect his friends. In this story, fans will enjoy the adventure of Kirito and Eugeo as they travel to four new locations in search of the necessary resources to create the ultimate sword Blooming of Forget-me-not is a single-player adventure that offers riches and new content.
“Kirito, Alice, Eugeo and Medina fought for peace in the human realm, and the Administrator’s reign has come to an end. To avoid losing someone dear to him… To become a stronger swordsman… Kirito sets out with Eugeo on a quest for a new divine object.”
