A few months ago we learned that Sword of the Necromancer: Resurrection is a new 3D version of the original game released in 2021 that will come to Nintendo Switch. Developed by Grimoire of Games, this dungeon-crawling action RPG features procedural elements and the ability to revive defeated enemies to fight at your side.
Now we have a new official trailer and new launch window. It is expected to be launched at the end of this summer.
Remember that the story follows Tama, a mischievous girl, who seeks to resurrect the priestess Koko using the Sword of the Necromancer. This improved version offers renewed mechanics, such as the ability to customize the artificial intelligence of summoned monsters. In addition, it features remastered illustrations, English and Japanese dubbing, and new scenes that delve into the tragic love story of Tama and Koko.
Here you have your trailer:
Sword of the Necromancer: Resurrection will be launched at the end of 2024 before Sword of the Necromancer: Revenant and offers the possibility of unlocking bonuses in the latter game by completing the first. It will be released for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch and PC (Steam).
