The Pokémon company today announced the second expansion of the Pokémon Sword and Shield trading cards. The new set will be called & # 39; Rebel Clash & # 39;
A large number of newly discovered Pokémon collectors from the Galar region will appear in the new set, which is due to be released worldwide on May 1st. The first set, simply titled & # 39; Pokémon TCG: Sword & Shield & # 39 ;, was released earlier this month.
As always, this new expansion will arrive in stores in the form of booster packs, theme sets, Elite Trainer Boxes, and special collections. A new series is underway to introduce new Pokémon V and Pokémon VMAX cards such as Toxtricity VMAX, based Gigantamax Toxtricity from Sword and Shield on switch.
Here are some of the top points set to appear in the new Pokémon TCG collection (which will contain over 190 cards in total):
- 16 Pokémon V like Toxtricity V, Dubwool V, Boltund V, and Sandaconda V – and 14 full-size Pokémon V
- Seven Pokémon VMAX, including the last Evolutions of Pokémon's first partner in Galar, as well as Copperajah VMAX and Dragapult VMAX
- Over 15 Coach Cards and four full-service sponsor cards
- Four Special Power Cards
In the introduction, cards from the new set will be available at Pokémon TCG Card Dex app, if you want to browse your collection electronically. If you are lucky enough to live nearby, you will also be able to keep up with the new cards by attending pre-tournament competitions. This can be obtained from participating retailers – the official site it should help you locate local events.
