Publisher Clear River Games has revealed a new trailer for Omega 6: The Triangle Stars from developers Happymeal Inc and Pleocene ahead of its appearance at this year’s Gamescom.
The trailer is the first English-language presentation of the game, which is currently slated for release sometime in 2025. Omega 6, which boasts some nice pixel art visuals, is the brainchild of former Nintendo developer Tayaka Imamura, who took the lead with his story and art. direction. Shinobu Amayake, another ex-Nintendo developer, is composing the game’s sci-fi-inspired soundtrack.
It certainly looks different, and we’ll be keeping a close eye on this one as we get closer to its release. For now, let’s look at the official synopsis:
“OMEGA 6 Stars of the Triangle follows the adventures of Thunder and Kyra, two humanoids entrusted by their creator, Dr. Victor Franklin, with the discovery of a new planet for the human race to inhabit after Earth has been overrun by an influx of migratory aliens. Traveling through the cosmos in their craft, the Omega 6, before our heroes can find a new home for humanity, they must first traverse ancient ruins in search of the greatest treasure to pay off a… planetary loan?!”
What do you think of this so far? He has a strong pedigree behind him, but will you take him on? Tell us.
