Important news about “Tales of the Shire”, an upcoming game from The Lord of the Rings developed by Wētā Workshop and Private Division. The game was planned to be released on “consoles” in 2024 And, after its announcement for Nintendo Switch, we now have news regarding its release: it has been delayed until 2025.
Following the announcement of a new livestream, it has now been confirmed that the game will no longer be released this year. It will arrive “in early 2025”

The game’s website description suggests that it might not being as action-oriented as other games from the Lord of the Rings series. The words “Cosy” and “Heart-warming” suggest a life simulation or farming game set in the Shire, something more relaxed compared to the typical epic adventures.
