In August, it was announced that Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Splintered Fate would receive DLC in the future.
Developer Super Evil Megacorp recently spoke with iGamesNews about this content on the way to the game and while he couldn’t go into much detail because it’s apparently “top secret,” the main game was designed by Daniel Stansens type shared a little more information. Here’s what was said:
Stop: “It’s top secret for now, but I’m happy to confirm that, yes, DLCs are in the works and will unlock new characters, powers, bosses, and playable areas. Fans can look forward to a new character to master, even more stories and even more replayability await them in the future. If you want to know more about it, keep an eye on our social media channels and website as we hope to release them early next year as well main game including crossplay, online matchmaking, challenges and leaderboards so keep an eye out for that too!”
In the original announcement, it was mentioned that the first DLC would feature “one of the Turtles’ closest allies” as a playable character. Looks like turtle lovers will just have to wait until “early next year” for more information.
As reiterated, players can also expect crossplay, online matchmaking, challenges, leaderboards and more.
