Publisher Hyper Real has revealed Telebbit, an intriguing 2D platformer that uses teleportation as its main gameplay hook.
Launching on Switch eShop on October 24, 2024 developed by IKINAGAMES, currently gives off heavy Celeste vibes, albeit with a more cyberpunk style aesthetic with a lot of paragraph. Heck, it looks like there are even pieces of fruit floating around the stages that need to be collected.
The general gist of the story is that you take on the role of a rabbit who, after a series of painful tests and experiments, is mistakenly implanted with a high-performance CPU. Now he can boast of increased intelligence and sets out on a quest for revenge on humans. Sounds great, to be honest.
Let’s take a look at the key features:
-A fast-paced platformer with a unique teleportation mechanic
– Test your persistence, effort and imagination with very challenging stages
– Eight charming underground worlds to explore and wreak havoc in
– Clean and minimalist pixel art punctuated with striking, eerie colors
-Speedrun mode available for time attack game
The Telebbit isn’t available for pre-order via the eShop yet, but we can’t imagine it will be too long until the price is confirmed. For now, we’re excited to see more as the October 24th release date approaches.
