Tetris 99 may be a few years old, but the game is still being supported, even today. When the game isn’t seeing an occasional Maximus Cup, there will sometimes be a brand new update for the game. The last update to release was about a year ago.
Well, Nintendo has decided to release a new update tonight. When you update Tetris 99, the game should be at version 2.3.0. As for the patch notes, since the update is very small, they don’t say much. All they say is that “several issues have been addressed to improve the gameplay experience”.
