Mighty bloated Kirby and his friends team up on an adventure through Planet Popstar and visit Merry Magoland for sub-games in Kirby’s Return to Dream Land™ Deluxe. Now, the 33rd MAXIMUS CUP brings the sights and sounds of the pink hero’s latest Tetris® 99 adventure to the Nintendo Switch™ family of systems, testing players to fight their way to the top by becoming the last man standing!
The Tetris 99 33rd MAXIMUS CUP event runs from 12am PT on April 21st to 11:59pm PT on April 24th. To participate, any Nintendo Switch Online* member just needs to play Tetris 99 online during the event period. Players will earn event points based on their placement in each match. Once players collect a total of 100 event points, a new theme will be unlocked, featuring background art, music and Tetrimino designs inspired by Kirby’s Return to Dream Land Deluxe.
In Kirby’s Return to Dreamland Deluxe, up to four players** on the same system take Kirby and his friends on a platforming adventure to find Magolor’s missing ship parts and save the day! Enjoy the Merry Magoland amusement park and play sub-games for in-game prizes.
