Ubisoft has confirmed that the bouquet of flowers in the Beyond Good & Evil 20th Anniversary Edition that can be found lying on a bench in the Hillys Center and includes an envelope marked only with the letter E is indeed a tribute to Emil Morel, a veteran Ubisoft Montpellier developer who died in 2023. at the age of 40. Mr. Morel was the lead game designer behind the excellent Rayman Legends. He was also the creative director for the long-delayed Beyond Good & Evil 2, which Ubisoft recently confirmed is still in development.
