A Spanish video game site called Vandal recently published an article with input from the accessory company’s CEO discussing information he claims to know about the Switch 2 system. The executive says Nintendo is aiming for a worldwide release of the long-awaited hybrid console in March or April. This isn’t really information we haven’t heard before, so take it all with a grain of salt.
- The goal is to issue worldwide with sufficient supply to meet demand.
- The console is now ‘complete’.
- The leaked model is dated but indistinguishable from the final unit.
- The analog sticks will be shaped differently (they will not be compatible with current analog stick covers, nor will it be possible to manufacture new covers).
- Industry speculation is that the launch date will be March/April 2025.
