Shigesato Itoi is best known for being the creator of the Mother series, also known as EarthBound. The series hasn’t had any new entries for many years, but has since gained quite a following. Many Nintendo fans asked for the game to be localized in Western regions, but Nintendo was not interested.
Fan demand for the game to be localized has gotten louder today, thanks to the news that Japan will be getting the game in its Game Boy Advance Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack library. Some fans even contacted Itoi himself on social media about it. Itoi responded to fans, saying that they need to talk to Nintendo about it, not him.
