You may recall that earlier this week it was reported that Nintendo w as suing the makers of the Nintendo Switch emulator Yuzu for “illegally circumventing Nintendo’s software encryption”, enabling piracy and causing spoilers ahead of the games’ release. Since then, there have been no further developments on the matter.
However, that has now changed. It was announced that the creators of Yuzu responded to Nintendo’s lawsuit, and hired a lawyer. Legal matters such as this tend to move through the justice system quite slowly, so it will likely be some time before any judgment is reached.
