Recently, Kotaku interviewed Mariel Cartwright, creative director of the title Indivisible. He was asked to explain what is necessary to achieve good playability. We leave you with your answer below:
Indivisible is found is in a new category. Our goal was to make a game with RPG elements, with a great variety of characters and a story that involved the player, but also to cause tension and feeling of action that transmit platform and fighting games so well. As it turned out, associating the game with the RPG genre led many people to think that it would be of a more classic cut, such as a JRPG; Many objects, statistics and collection. The people who expected this was undoubtedly the one who got the biggest disappointment, since it just isn't that kind of game.
