The Final Fantasy series has always been one of the most popular RPG series, and a new game in the series is generally a big deal. Today, Square Enix revealed that the acclaimed franchise has sold 180 million units worldwide. The news was announced as the company revealed the lineup for the Takarazuka Revue, which is a Japanese musical theater group event. The latest Final Fantasy game is Final Fantasy XVI, which recently launched on the Sony PlayStation 5 console as an exclusive game.
