Nintendo of Europe took to Twitter to confirm that the first wave of downloadable content for the recently announced Splatoon 3 Expansion Pass will be arriving very soon. The first piece of new content will arrive on Tuesday, February 28 and will see the return of Inkopolis from the original Splatoon game on Wii U. Players who purchase the Expansion Pass will be able to choose their home base and switch between Inkopolis and Splatsville. It should be noted that the two hubs are a purely aesthetic choice and that the same items and most important weapons will be sold in both locations. However, Inkopolis will include new and returning faces such as Spyke and Jelonzo, the stylized owner of Jelly Fresh. The second wave from the Splatoon 3 Expansion Pass is titled Side Order and revolves around the Inkopolis square in Splatoon 2. Side Order doesn’t have an exact release date yet, but as soon as it’s announced we’ll let you know.
