Last night we saw an internal SEGA development video clip hit the internet featuring two previously announced games from SEGA and Atlus. The games shown were the remake of Persona 3 and the reboot of Jet Set Radio. Fast forward to today and two sites have come forward to confirm that the reel and featured games are legitimate. Gematsu says that the Persona 3 remake is a project currently being worked on at Atlus and Bits of SEGA says that the Jet Set Radio recording is the real deal and that Jet Set Radio and Crazy Taxi are set to launch in mid-2022.
“While we can’t verify the footage itself, Gematsu understands that a remake of Persona 3 has been in development at ATLUS for several years.”
“Isterious Domain”http://P3RE.JP” it was registered on March 15 of this year. This could be related to the Persona 3 Remake rumors.”
“So, just a reminder: Jet Set Radio and Crazy Taxi were introduced in mid-2022 as a potential Super Game powered by the online community. As of a year ago, CT was out for 2-3 years and JSR was unknown. Today’s leaks are all known assets to present.”
“We have a good relationship with SEGA, so we don’t like things that come directly to us to leak and break, which is why we stopped sharing. But the cat is out of the bag over the others so I thought we’d share some more.”
