We get more information about the Super Mario movie focused this time on the differences in the Japanese version of the tape. You already know that there is another script created by Nintendo.
After offering you some changes, now GameXplain has published a new video where they confirm thanks to a friend who speaks Japanese the changes in the personality of several characters. They are the following:
- There are some changes to Mario and Luigi’s jokes, but their personality remains.
- Peach’s personality is also kept, though she doesn’t consider Mario to be short in the Japanese version.
- Donkey Kong is less rude
- Cranky Kong is less of a curmudgeon
- Bowser is more serious and the Peaches song sounds different
- Toad is super polite and super adorable
- Lumalee, the gluttonous Flash, is not a funny character in Japanese nor does she say things to make the audience laugh. They affirm that their references to death have been withdrawn and that many viewers did not fully understand this character in japon.es
