As you may have heard, there has been Nintendo Switch again Ring Fit Adventure scarcity around the world for months on end. In Japan, however, the situation sounds like a lot worse.
As highlighted by Niko Partner Senior Analyst Daniel Ahmad, Japanese retailer Yamada Denki recently ran the lottery on 130 switches and 900 Ring Fit Adventure units. The winners got a chance to buy a system and a copy of the game, but because so many people signed up (over 200,000, to be precise), the website servers broke down.
Undoubtedly, the increasing popularity of these two products has to do with the coronavirus outbreak and the need to stay indoors for a long time to prevent the spread.
Earlier this week, Nintendo notified Japanese fans that the current state of the Switch console was being held, and last week the update revealed that the US and Europe were struggling to keep up with demand. There have also been reports of fitness enthusiasts paying ridiculous prices for the Ring Fit Adventure in recent times.
