Dataminers continue to dive and investigate the code of the latest Nintendo Switch update 12.0. After learning about some interesting news related to the dock, now we have more information.
Apparently this patch could have added Bluetooth audio support for the console. This is one of the most requested features by fans and, although it is not yet available, it could be launched in the future according to the indications found. Remember that Bluetooth headsets are becoming more common, so you may be preparing to become compatible with them.
I personally don’t think Nintendo would add this for “no reason”, so hopefully this will be used somewhere. (Especially since Bluetooth Audio is a highly requested feature on the Switch.)
We’ll see what happens. Maybe it will, maybe it won’t. Nintendo works in mysterious ways.
