Today, The Pokémon Company revealed the official title and logo for the upcoming Pokémon animated series. “Pokémon Horizons: The Series” will premiere worldwide in 2023 and after the conclusion of “Pokémon Ultimate Journeys: The Series,” which will culminate in Ash Ketchum’s historic victory as the Pokémon World Champion. The Pokémon Company has also released a new one feature trailer featuring never-before-seen footage from select episodes. The trailer provides an early look at the story, which focuses on dual protagonists Liko and Roy uncovering the mysteries of the Pokémon world. In “Pokémon Horizons: The Series,” dual protagonists Liko, whose Pokémon partner is Sprigatito, and Roy will encounter many characters during their journey, including a group led by Friede and Captain Pikachu called the Rising Volt Tacklers. Traveling through the Pokémon world on an airship, the Rising Volt Tacklers include Orla, who enjoys mechanical and electrical work, accompanied by her Pokémon partner, Metagross; Murdock, who is skilled in cooking, and his Pokémon partner, Rockruff; Mollie, who specializes in healing, and her Pokémon partner, Chansey; and Ludlow. Liko and Roy will also encounter Amethia, who is joined by his partner Pokémon, Ceruledge, and belongs to an organization called the Explorers, as well as a popular video streamer known as Nidothing.
