It’s been quite a busy start to the year for the Switch with games like Fire Emblem Engage and classic Persona titles coming out next week. Another game to look out for before the end of the month is SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake.
To build some excitement around this new adventure, THQ Nordic and Nickelodeon released a brand new trailer today that shows SpongeBob and his friends coming together for their cosmic adventure. Here’s the background story from the PR:
“A bottle of magic soap with bubbles is given sponge Bob and Patrick the mysterious soothsayer Cassandra, what could possibly go wrong? They make too many wishes and what seemed like harmless fun turns into a cosmic disaster: the very fabric of reality unravels and magical WishWorlds open up everywhere! With many of the Spongebob friends are drawn into these strange worlds, your favorite sponge must wear various cosmic costumes to travel to the Wish Worlds and bring his friends back to rebuild Bikini Bottom. But beware, Cassandra may not be the helping hand she claims to be…”
In this new trailer you will be able to see SpongeBob and Patrick, his pet snail Gary, Sandy, Squid-ward and some other familiar faces. What’s even better is that they are all voiced by the original actors!
