The developer Wayforward we were surprised with a new update of the popular River city girls for Nintendo Switch, which brings an interesting change in history.
According to the patch notes, the update corrects some errors detected and also includes the following message: "the dialogue of the end that comes after the confrontation against the secret boss has been altered." The community in Reddit has not taken long to verify it and they have found that it not only includes new dialogues, but that the ending is now completely different and even a new art has been added to the final scene.
It is not very common in the industry to see the ending or the scene of a game after its release, but the developer probably felt that she owed it to her fans. So if the previous final left you with a bad taste, you can try again to find out if the new resolution convinces you.
