Nintendo has revealed that this April 22 will release a last free update for Super Mario Maker 2 which will add a new mode called World Maker, in addition to other new elements.

In the new mode, players can connect various levels on a map until they reach the final castle, just like in the Super Mario Bros series! Players will be able to customize these maps and save up to eight of them, each with up to five levels for a total of 40 levels between all.

The company has also added all Koopalings, each with their own personal moves, in addition to Phanto and Mecakoopa. New buffs and crafting parts have also been added like the mushroom in Super Mario Bros. 2 to adapt the character to his appearance in that game, and that allows them to pick up objects and throw them at enemies.
