Over the past eight months, Beenox has released numerous annual updates on its popular race titles Nitro-Fueled Crash Team Race – Adding new characters, karts, and lessons. In its latest blog review on the Activation website, the developer has announced the next Grand Prix for CTR to be the last.
It's a small task for us to announce that the next Grand Prix will be the last, but at the same time we want players to know that the race is not over.
With the Grand Prix, we have brought a fresh, new twist to Crash Team racing Nitro-Fueled. Our community has run through a multitude of new tracks and challenges each season and has received an amazing collection of new characters and skins and shown their style in the wrong ways by customizing all their karts.
Although there will be no further new seasons for the Grand Prix, players will still be able to enjoy all modes of the game (including online matchmaking), as well as ongoing challenge programs, new tests, and new characters, skins and karts scheduled to arrive soon after the release of Last Grand Prix.
