Nintendo announced this morning that the Nintendo Switch family of systems have now sold more than 143.42 million units since the original system launched in March 2017. However, in recent financials released today, the Kyoto-based company said its overall profit fell by 71% due to what they call “slowing demand” for the aging platform with its long-awaited successor due to be revealed by the end of March 2025.
