This year’s GDC is just around the corner as it takes place in March in San Francisco and generally attracts a sizeable crowd. The annual Game Developer Choice Awards will be held at the event, and this year’s nominees have been announced. There are plenty of solid titles in various categories on offer this year as an indie game Tunic is up for the prestigious game of the year award and is fast and elegant Neon White it was nominated for the Best Debut Award and the Best Design Award. However, Nintendo was not nominated for any categories this year despite releasing Splatoon 3, Bayonetta 3, Xenoblade Chronicles 3 and Kirby and the Forgotten Land. The Game Developers Choice Awards 2023 will take place at GDC between March 20 and 24. Here are the nominees:
