We continue to bring you more good news for users interested in Nintendo products, especially fans of Civilization VI. This time the information will be great for those of you who are interested in Civilization VII, which was already officially announced and has now confirmed new details.
It will be launched on February 11, 2025 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, PC, Mac, and Linux. After learning about its editions, prices, and trailers, we now have statements about its development. And it seems that the team behind Civilization VII is determined to innovate.
The executive producer Dennis Shirk has confirmed to Polygon that this new installment will bring a new vision of classic mechanics, forcing players to rethink their strategies. Rather than being a simple evolution of previous games, Civilization VII seeks to offer a fresh experience that breaks with expectations and challenge the fans to adapt to new forms of play.

When you look [Civilization 4, 5 y 6]they’re all relatively similar to each other. We change rooms, put up new wallpaper, add a couple of different things or additions to the house, but they’re iterative, and our fans have gotten pretty good at guessing what we’re doing. They know the order we’re going to do it in, what’s going to be in the first expansion… and Ed [Beach] I didn’t want to make a Civ 6.5; I wanted to make something that would force our fans to start over. The old strategies aren’t going to work. They need to open up and look at it with fresh eyes to understand how to play this game.
