The game’s official Gothic account teased that it was the original Gothic style the game will come to Nintendo Switch. The long-running RPG was originally released on PC in 2001 and has become a cult classic, so it’s great to hear that German developer Piranha Bytes is remastering it and bringing it to Switch. It’s unclear what quality-of-life improvements the Gothic Nintendo Switch port will feature, but we’re hoping for smoother gameplay and less clunky controls compared to the original version.
