Today, The Pokémon Company International announced the latest updates to the mobile version of Pokémon HOME, including a new Pokémon Guidebook and a chance to earn a Shiny Meloetta.
- New Pokemon Guide Feature – Starting with the 3.2.2 update, trainers will be able to access the Pokémon Guide, where they can see basic information about Pokémon such as their Pokédex entries, types, sizes, shapes, and more.
This information is available even if that Pokémon is not registered in your National Pokédex in Pokémon HOME. You can also find out which games that Pokémon can be encountered in, which will help you complete your Pokédex.
- Awesome Meloetta is coming to Pokémon HOME – Special Pokémon can now be awarded to players as mystery gifts for completing a specific Pokédex. The first games to use this feature are Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet (sold separately). Trainers who complete their Paldea Pokédex, Kitakami Pokédex, and Blueberry Pokédex in those games will receive Shiny Meloetta in the mobile version of Pokémon HOME.
To receive this Pokémon, Trainers must complete each Pokédex, then confirm your completion in the Games tab of Pokémon HOME. If the player has already completed every Pokédex, they are still eligible to obtain the Shiny Meloetta. Please note that in order to receive Istery Gifts, the player must have a linked Nintendo Account, and each Istery Gift can only be received once per Nintendo Account.
