Epic Games announced on their website that there will be big changes in Fortnite in December.
The most significant change is that Fortnite Crew subscriptions are now being upgraded to include LEGO Pass and Music Pass.
“Starting December 1st, Fortnite Crew will also include Music Pass and LEGO® Pass at no extra cost! As an active Fortnite Crew subscriber, you'll be able to claim premium rewards from all passes in Fortnite starting December 1st, and playing any experience will progress through all of them simultaneously, yielding tons of rewards as you earn XP.”
And, for the first time since the game's launch, the Battle Pass will see a price increase, going from 950 V-Bucks to 1000. However, the price of V-Bucks remains the same and, as always, they can be purchased through the Nintendo Switch eShop.
“Also on December 1st, the price of the Battle Royale Battle Pass is changing, increasing by 50 V-Bucks from 950 to 1000. The price of V-Bucks in real money will remain the same, and you will still be able to earn V-Bucks through Battle Pass leveling . The 25 Battle Pass Reward Bundle will now be available for 1,800 V-Bucks (down from 1,850), and the Battle Bundle of Battle Pass and 25 Battle Pass Rewards will be available for 2,800 V-Bucks.”
All of this comes ahead of the permanent return of Fortnite OG mode on December 6, which continues to be highly anticipated and the source of much hype.
