It’s been a while since we last had a new mainline Tales of game as Tales of Arise launched back in 2021. IGN caught up with Yuki Ishikawa, who is the producer behind the upcoming Tales of Graces f Remastered which is coming to Switch and other platforms early next year. One thing IGN was interested in was the future of the series, mostly the main titles. Mr. Ishikawa said that “we can’t say for sure if it’s a remaster or a remake, but we definitely want to keep moving forward.”
“The goal of Tales of IP in general is for the IP to grow,” Ishikawa explained. “So, it doesn’t mean that the Tales of series will end with Tales of Arise…So, whether there’s a brand new title, whether it’s a remaster, whether it’s a remake, we can’t say for sure, but I definitely want to keep moving forward.”
