Remember that game where a bunch of high society people were slapping each other? Well, it’s getting a local release on Switch later this month.
Collection of roses and camellias was previously revealed for Nintendo’s hybrid system during some Japanese broadcasts, and will now be available on the eShop in North America and Europe April 16, 2024 for $19.99 (or your regional equivalent).
Includes “five different games” (R&C 1, 2, vs. La-Mulana, 3 and 4), two player versus mode, English and Japanese VO, and over 30 characters to choose from. Here’s something about it from WayForward’s PR:
“As the Rose & Camellia Collection begins, the young widow Reiko must prove herself worthy of leading the Tsubakikoji family by engaging in a famous noble pastime – a series of slap battles! This over-the-top succession dispute evolves into increasingly bizarre scenarios, including a world tour of the “Death Queen Circuit” , a battle against ruthless lawyers, and a crossover with NIGORO’s La-Mulan series of games.As you cross arms with muscle-bound maids, creepy ghosts, stone-masked enforcers, and even a bulky mech, I’ll use Joy-Con motion controls or touch-screen swipes to would give your opponents some respect by slapping, dodging, feinting and blocking your way to victory!
