Bloomberg reporter Takashi Mochizuki reports that based on supply chain data and display shipment data, Nintendo could easily produce more than ten million Nintendo Switch 2 systems in the first fiscal year. This contrasts with the launches of the Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 which saw both Sony and Microsoft struggle to get enough consoles into stores, making them incredibly difficult to obtain during the launch period unless they were pre-ordered. Nintendo has yet to announce a successor to the popular Nintendo Switch console.
