NieR: Automata coming soon to hybrid console Nintendo and many fans are anxiously awaiting, not only the title, but the next series of NieR: Automata Ver 1.1a.
Well, the Aniplex Online Fest that has been carried out last weekend, has given us news about the launch of the new series, whose release date will be in January 2023. The trailer already has a huge number of views and includes interviews with the mythical Yoko Taroas well as the director of the series, Ryoji Mausyamaand other anime cast members, Yui Ishikawa and Natsuke Hanae.
In this interview, one of the sections that has caused the most stir on social networks have been the words that speak about whether it will continue and tell the same story as the video game. Own Yoko Taro has indicated that “Nier: Automata was a story that we created to be a game, so copying it as it is would not be an interesting story for the anime.”
Everything seems to indicate that the series will go in other directions than those seen in the game, although connecting with them and all the lore intrinsic to the title.
