In this year's PAX East, the Yacht Club games have "definitely" been considering a direct follow Shvel Knight: Treasure Tuff.
Now, on Reddit AMA on the Nintendo subreddit, the brilliant indie developer and publisher added to this previous comment – explaining what a sequel might be, but will likely not make one soon. Here is the full response from Yacht Club program presenter David D & # 39; Angelo:
We'll be eager to make it another day … but now we're moving on to new things. If we did a sequel, I think it would be the same rating as Shovel of Hope.
Another member of the team repeated this, saying that "after 6 years of Slovel Knight" it was time to start working on some new games.
At a later time Presentation of Yacht Club, Shovel Knight director Sean Velasco said the team has begun internal development on two new projects – and teased a new IP that's sure to please Shovel Knight fans.
