Many of you are probably looking forward to the Knuckles television series, which will be broadcast exclusively on Paramount+. Today he surprised us with interesting statements for Sonic fans. It will be released on April 26, 2024 and will close the gap between the Sonic The Hedgehog 2 and Sonic The Hedgehog 3 movies. However, plans could go further, as the magazine Paste has interviewed the executive producer of the Knuckles television series, Toby Ascherand has revealed keys to the Sonic cinematic universe.
Ascher mentioned that the inclusion of other Sonic characters in the upcoming movie Sonic 3 has led to Avengers-level events. Regarding the Knuckles series, Ascher states that “everything is open” and that they are excited about the idea of exploring and expanding the characters on television. This allows for deeper character studies.
He added that if something works successfully and they have a great story to tell, they are open to expanding it, so they don’t close any doors when asked about new future seasons of Knucles.
This is certainly good news for Sonic the Hedgehog fans. We are looking forward to this new Knuckles series that will be launched as a live-action spin-off, especially after the leak of some of its storyboards and knowing that it has broken a record for Paramount.
