As you can see below, Dengeki has carried out a survey on franchising in Japan. These are the extracted results:
- Pikmin rock: Poll winner, appreciated for his voices and form.
- Pikmin blues: Secondly, praised for their bravery and “silly” appearance.
- Pikmin Morados: Seen as cute, powerful and with a pleasant appearance.
- Pikmin reds: Considered cute and versatile.
- Oatchi: Chosen for its chubby, dog-like design.
