He One Piece world has been with us in the anime and entertainment industry for decades. Eiichiro Oda has left us a whole franchise of adventures, overcoming, comedy and unique moments that has achieved its permanent space in the current history of animation, the manga and anime.

Los One Piece main characters are fundamental to the essence of the franchise, and seeing them in their Initial sketches decades agoare really amazing. Oda had other designs in mind originally, as confirmed in a post on X by one of the first editors of the mangaka
These sketches show that the Oda’s imagination has shaped many characters and conceptual designs that ultimately did not appear in the manga or anime.
Oda’s first editor reveals 19-year-old Eiichiro Oda’s first unpublished works “Forward,” featuring proto-One Piece concepts from 30 years ago. “Monkey D. Pao,” bears a striking resemblance to Luffy. The Spirit of the Rubber Tree: This character, named Merry, is 5,008 years old and has a distinctive laugh like Nika’s “Wahahaha.”
