There is less left for its premiere and little by little we are learning news about this game. Today we bring curious and interesting news related to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2, now known as The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
After knowing news in the last Nintendo Direct, we now have news of what was presented in the gameplay offered by Eiji Aonuma, producer of the franchise. Specifically, after learning about the OLED Switch model of the game, the mechanics presented in the video and that the weapons break, we now have news.
After detailing the Golems and Kickback, the Zonnan, the Combination and the Ultrahand and the Fans, as well as the Combination of arrows and shields and the Infiltration and free fall, now we bring you some news that is undoubtedly peculiar.
This seems to be related to the OLED model of Nintendo Switch inspired by the game, which as you well know was leaked weeks before its official announcement. Well, it seems that as a result of this a GameStop store employee has been fired.
He posted a SKU (product listing) on Reddir showing that a placeholder of this OLED model had been added, lending credibility to previously leaked images. This employee was called to the store where he worked on April 5 and told that he was fired.
They took the keys to the store, suspended him and fired him from his job. Nintendo has not commented on the matter, but sources close to it affirm that the company was pressuring GameStop to fire this employee who leaked / gave credibility to plans not announced by Nintendo.
What do you think? Do not hesitate to leave it in the comments. Remember that Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom will be released on May 12, 2023 with some gifts for booking it. This is the only thing that Nintendo shares about this installment:
The keys to the sequel
- The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom: An adventure of epic proportions will transport players to the lands and vast skies above Hyrule in the sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. They will have to decide which way to go through the vast landscapes of Hyrule and the floating islands scattered in the heights. Will players harness the power of Link’s new abilities and stand up against the malevolent forces that threaten the kingdom?
- In addition to the standard edition, a collector’s edition of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom will also be available on the same day the game is released. Includes a physical copy of the game, an artbook, a SteelBook, an Iconart metal poster, and a set of four pins. On the other hand, a new Link amiibo with the appearance he has in the game will also be available separately.
