Your device's operating system version may not support certain functions.
In Pokémon Sword and Shield: Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield are compatible with the version of Pokémon Home for Nintendo Switch. Once connected, all the Pokémon that can be obtained in those games can be transferred and removed.
In Pokémon: Let’s Go: Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee! they can connect with the version of Pokémon Home for Nintendo Switch. This allows you to transfer Pokémon between Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee! or pass them to Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield. However, keep in mind that when a Pokémon has been transferred from Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! or Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee! to Pokémon Sword or Pokémon Shield, you will not be able to return to your original game!
In the Pokémon Bank: With the premium plan (paid), you can move your Pokémon from Nintendo 3DS games to Pokémon Home through the Pokémon Bank. But it is important to remember that, once transferred from the Pokémon Bank to Pokémon Home, they will not be able to return to the first one. To celebrate the launch of Pokémon Home, for a month after the day of its launch, the Pokémon Bank and the Poké Translator will be available at no cost. These programs will allow you to transfer Pokémon from different games in the series. And, when your Pokémon are in the Pokémon Bank, you can transfer them to Pokémon Home!
To transfer Pokémon from the Pokémon Bank, we will first have to link our Nintendo Network ID to our Nintendo account and then link our Nintendo account to Pokemon Home on Nintendo Switch.
There is a function that allows you to transfer all the Pokémon you have in the Pokémon Bank at once.
A Nintendo account for Pokemon Home is not required on both the smartphone and Switch, it is only necessary if you want to transfer Pokémon from the Pokémon Bank to Home.
There is also a second method that does not require you to link your Nintendo Network ID to your Nintendo account: you must enter a code in the Pokémon Bank on Nintendo 3DS, and from there, you can select the Pokémon boxes you wish to transfer.
This will also allow your friends who have a Pokémon Bank account to transfer their Pokémon to your Pokémon Home account.
Prodigious Box: If you deposit a Pokémon in the prodigious box, it will be exchanged with people from all over the world before you know it! The exchange will occur even if you are not using Pokémon Home. In addition, you can exchange more Pokémon if you have the premium plan (for a fee).
GTS: In the GTS you can indicate which Pokémon you want to exchange and which one you would like to receive in return. Then, you will be paired with another Coach whose request suits yours. This way you can order the Pokémon that you have not yet registered in the Pokémon Home Pokémon! In addition, you can exchange more Pokémon if you have the premium plan (for a fee).
Group exchange: With the group exchange, you can create a group to make exchanges between the people in it. In each group there can be up to 20 participants. To add some intrigue, you will not know what Pokémon you are going to receive until the exchange is complete. Group exchanges can be done at no cost, but you can only create groups with a premium (paid) plan.
Exchange with friends: The exchange with friends allows you to exchange Pokémon with other users that you have added to your Pokémon Home friends list. You can add friends from the function Add friends from Pokémon Home. Only users over 16 years old can use the Pokémon Home features related to adding and managing friends.
In Pokémon Home you will accumulate points Pokémon Home as you deposit Pokémon. In the Nintendo Switch version, these points can be exchanged for Battle Points (PB) and can be used in the main series games.
Personal corner: Your personal corner is the place where you can see all the information about different events and the games connected with Pokémon Home. And you can even decorate your profile with stickers! To get them, you just have to perform certain tasks or meet requirements, called achievements, in Pokémon Home.
Combat Data: In the version of Pokémon Home for mobile devices you can check the status of the Qualifying Combats and the Pokémon Sword and Shield Shield Online Tournaments, and also the lists of the Pokémon that are being used in them. In option Combat data, you will be able to see the statistics of each Trainer and information on which movements are most popular among the Pokémon that compete. Warning: The combat data feature is expected to be available after the release of Pokémon Home in February 2020.
Notices: You can also check notices about Pokémon distributions or Pokémon Sword and Shield Shield Online Tournaments in the version of Pokémon Home for mobile devices.
