We continue to bring you more good news for users interested in Nintendo products, especially fans of Civilization VI. This time the information will be great for those of you who are interested in Civilization VII, which was already officially announced and has now confirmed new details.
It will be launched on February 11, 2025 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, PC, Mac and Linux. After knowing its editions, prices and trailers, we now have statements about its development. The creative director, Ed Beachhe shared in an interview with IGN that the team has listened to player feedback to make new elements interesting without breaking immersion.
The game will divide the experience into eras, allowing players to evolve historical civilizations in unique waysfrom Rome to modern civilizations such as Germany or France. It confirms that while creative mixing of cultures is allowed, the default setting will maintain a historical focus for those who prefer a more traditional experience.
“But we also had to think about players who wanted a more historical journey through our game,” the creative shares. “So we set up the game so that that is the default way that players would play.” both humans and AI advance in the game and then the player has to opt for that crazier style of play.”
We’ll have to stay tuned for more details on Civilization VII. In the meantime, what do you think of the announcement? Let us know in the comments.
