This Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom ability could confirm the time travel theory

ability, confirm, Kingdom, tears, theory, time, Travel, Zelda

The trailer for the sequel The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild shown in the E3 2021 It originally gave a lot of play to fans who don’t stop theorizing about the infinity of details that can be found in it. In fact, one of the theories that continues to gain strength is that of time travel in this new installment.

all part of the new ability that looks like an evolution of Stasis, what attached to change of appearance in Zelda and Link has triggered these types of theories that focus on this second installment taking place before the first Breath of the Wild.

As they point out from Screen Rant, everything gains strength as a result of the NintendoBlackCrisis video and details contributed by user Cuccolover. Much of the time travel theory of the now known as Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is based on the absence of ancient Sheikah structures present in the first trailerwhich shows a floating hyrule castle Also, Zelda and Link appear to ride creatures not found in Breath of the Wildpresumably because they became extinct in one of the great Cataclysms.

The Sheikah Slate’s Stasis ability in Breath of the Wild only allowed Link to freeze items for a short period of time, causing them to glow a deep yellow. Breath of the Wild 2 trailer shows Link using a similar ability but with the power to rewind time for the affected object. This is important to the theory of time travel because it shows that significant manipulation of time is possible.

In the image of Hyrule castle we also find significant details. The most important thing is the existence of undestroyed buildings in the foreground, implying that this scene takes place before one of the great Cataclysms.

Finally, playing the Breath of the Wild theme backwards (although it has been commented that it does not have to be the previous title theme, but simply a song played backwards) it could mean that events are undoing, that is, that it would be like going back.

At the moment, they are just theories, but they seem well argued. What do you think?
