25 years ago, the Pokemon franchise would make its official debut in the United States with the release of Pokemon Blue and Pokemon Red on Nintendo’s Game Boy handheld. So TIME magazine is celebrating the occasion with a special issue featuring Pokemon.
There are 4 different cover variants available. 3 of them show the original starters and 1 of them shows Pikachu. No matter which cover you end up with, they all have the same content.
