In the tweet that we leave you below, we can learn about recent statements about the character coming directly from its creator Takaya Imamura. He has reportedly stated on his official Twitter account that his original goal for Tingle was to make a “creepily cute” character, but he now acknowledges that Tingle is simply creepy.
However, Imamura also adds that he hopes Tingle return to the franchise and stay alive in games, even though he left Nintendo some time ago. However, he hopes that the company will use this character in the future.
